How to Calculate Inground Pool Hose Length

To determine the ideal hose length for an inground pool, measure the distance from the skimmer to the furthest corner of the pool, then add the depth of the pool.

Example:
If the skimmer is 30 ft from the furthest corner and the pool depth is 5 ft, you will need a 35 ft vacuum hose.

How to Calculate Above-Ground Pool Hose Length

For above-ground pools, choose a hose that is 3 feet longer than the diameter of your pool.

Storage & Care Tip

To extend the life of your vacuum hose, store it out of direct sunlight when not in use. Prolonged UV exposure can cause the hose to fade, stiffen, and crack over time. Rinse with fresh water and coil loosely before storage.
