WHAT IS A PERMANENT ABOVE-GROUND POOL?

A permanent Above-Ground Pool is a freestanding structure that sits on top of the ground. Once it has been installed, this permanent pool is designed to stay up year-round. Unlike soft-sided or inflated above-ground pools, you do not need to take it down for the winter. The permanent above-ground pools can be positioned inches below the surface of the ground. This great feature allows you to install a pool off of an existing deck.

An above-ground swimming pool has a long, thin, corrugated wall system usually made of steel and bolted in one section. The strength of the pool comes from the frame and ledge. Steel frame and ledge are stronger than resin. Our 10" wide steel that is rolled formed into our 6" frame and 7" ledge has so many folds and bends that it is the strongest. We have Premium above-ground pools made of resin, aluminum, or steel. Above-ground pools made with resin or aluminum can be paired with a salt water system, and steel structures can be used with ions to manage your pool water. Ionizers are environmentally friendly, inexpensive to run and less expensive to purchase than salt generators.

Most above-ground swimming pools are round because they require equalized water pressure at all points. However, oval-shaped swimming pools above ground require reinforcement with buttress assemblies or non-buttress assemblies. All above-ground pools must be installed on properly graded and level ground.
