The AquaBug® features Hayward’s exclusive SmartDrive® programmed steering, ensuring the cleaner systematically covers the entire pool floor without missing spots. Its advanced turbine and gearing system maintains balanced water flow for quiet, efficient operation while gently moving across the pool bottom. As it cleans, the AquaBug® also improves circulation by pulling debris-laden water from the bottom of the pool.

Installation takes less than 10 minutes and includes 32 feet of hose, ideal for round pools up to 24 feet in diameter. For larger pools, additional hose sections are available to ensure proper coverage. With proper water balance, the AquaBug® is designed to clean the pool floor only—there’s no need to clean the walls of a well-maintained above-ground pool.

Important: Not compatible with soft-sided above-ground pools.

Hose Sizing Tip:
Your vacuum hose should be approximately 5 feet longer than your pool’s diameter or length. Pools larger than 24 ft will require additional hose sections (sold separately).
